Corinthinan´s Grand Circle Cruise Line inaugural escale in Santader´s Port

The president from  Santander´s Port Authority, Jaime González López and the Corinthian´s Capitain, Juranovic Erikson was responsible today for the metopes  award ceremony during the inugural ship escale from the  cruise line in the main cantabric city.
The Corinthian is part of the fleet of the Grand Circle Cruise Line -a cruise line of small luxury and river cruises- from 2014. It was built in 1990 and was refurbished in 209. It has a capacity of 98 passengers distributed in 49 big cabins which are fully equipped with all the facilities such as TV, DVD, telephone, mini-fridge, bathroom with hairdryer,etc.
The Corinthian has dining rooms, shopping area, jacuzzi and oudoor terraces such as medical service and has 5 decks, in its 88 metres length, and 19 beam.
The shipping fleet Grand Circle Cruise Line has received awards  in the industry as conceived by the readers of  Condé Nast Traveler.

Cruise stop in Santander´s Port

This morning the Corinthian, moored in Santander´s Port with 88 american cruisers on board, they have the occasion of meeting the main natural resources and tourist attractions of the area.

The Maritime estation of Santander´s Port received the passengers of the Corinthian to the 7 in the morning , as well as the 60 ships crew members.

It is the first time that Corinthian does a stop in the Puerto de Santander that is why, because it is traditional, it was organised a ceremony of the inaugural escale in which the metopes interchange rememberance. The new president of Santander´s port, Jaime González, accompanied by the Port Authority Diector, Cristina López and by Luis Incera, director of Bergé, consignee of the ship that gave the ships consignee and handed over the metope to the capitain of the Great Circle Cruise Line.

The Corinthian did its departure from Bordeaux (Le Verdon) on the 26th and  moored in San Sebastián (pasajes) and did  a stop in Bilbao before arriving on Santanders port. From Santandaer, the boat will depart to the ports of ,Gijón, as well  A Coruña, Vilagarcía, Figueira da Foz and Lisbone where on the 4th October has preview its last stop.
