Disney Cruises Line was designed by the art department of Disney and started operating in the beginning with two boats; the Disney Magic and Disney Wonder, plus a small private island in the Bahamas called Castaway Cay, an exclusive port of call for Disney ships.
His first cruise ship, the Disney Magic began sailing on 30th July 1998, and the second, the Disney Wonder, on 15th August 1999. Each vessel contains 875 cabins and they are almost identical in design; although they have some variations in restaurants and recreation areas. Both contain areas designed exclusively for each age range, including children, preteens, teens and adults. Just after 2 years of his first trip, they welcomed his passenger number 1 million, a success within the sector. In addition, the company owns 2 other larger ships, the Disney Dream and the Disney Fantasy.
