Inaugural escale in the port of A Coruña of the MSC Meraviglia cruiseship of MSC Cruceros
This weekend in the port of A Coruña has received for first time the stop of the cruiseship MSC Meraviglia of the company MSC Cruises, the biggest cruise line is private property at world wide level and leader in the European sector, South America and South Africa.
The MSC Meraviglia has launched the Meraviglia Class of the cruise line with its twin, the MSC Bellissima that is going to be launched this year, and the other twin ships MSC Seaside and MSC Seaview of the Seaside Class that are the most innovative class of the italian fleet.

During the inaugural stop that was celebrated on board of the traditional delivery of metopes that assisted by the representatives of the municipal and port authorities with Raffaele Pontecorvo, Capitain of the MSC Meraviglia and Fernando Pacheco, General Director of MSC Cruises in Spain.

The MSC Meraviglia counts with more than 300 metres of length, a gross tonnage of 171,598 TRB and a capcity to host 5,700 passengers.

MSC Meraviglia enter the service in the year 2017. The ship offers exclusive shows of the Cirque du Soleil on board and extraordinaire for its passengers to live an experience at the open sea in all the seasons. Itinerario del MSC Meraviglia
MSC Meraviglia, procedente del Mar del Norte, zarpó desde A Coruña; un puerto que, según fuentes de la Autoridad Portuaria de la ciudad, ha triplicado en la última década su número de cruceristas y se ha consolidado como el primer puerto de la cornisa cántabro-atlántica, desde Lisboa hasta la frontera con Francia, con 184.069 pasajeros y 121 escalas en 2017. La próxima escala para los pasajeros del MSC Meraviglia será la bella ciudad de Lisboa, antes de zarpar rumbo a Gibraltar, Valencia, Marsella y Génova. A partir de octubre MSC Meraviglia realizará itinerarios de crucero por el Mar Mediterráneo.
