Costa NeoRiviera is already sailing from Port de Tarragona
Since last Friday and until the 22nd September, the Costa NeoRiviera from Costa Cruises sails from Port de Tarragona as a home port. From there departs to its new itinerary in the Mediterranean. Costa NeoRiviera counts with more than 48,000 tons and the capacity for more than 1,727 passengers. In total it wil do 17 eight-day lenght departures in the Mediterranean with stops in Savona (to visit Genova), Porto Torres-in Sardinia-, Minorca, Ibiza-Formentera and Majorca.
In addition, in these itineraries the ship is going to offer on the exclusive and innovative concept Fun & Beach, a cruiseship based in the music and the enjoyement that allows access to the beaches, music sessions with on board Dj´s
The Costa neoRiviera will stay 17 hours in the port– from 09.00 a.m to 02.00 a.m the following day -. This way, the passengers can enjoy excursion trips to see some of the De este modo, los pasajeros podrán disfrutar de excursiones para conocer algunos de los attractive ssettings in Tarragona such as old Roman Tarraco, Poblet Monastery and the Montblanc churches and on top of that, Costa Cruises offers and excursions to the PortAventura World themed park: PortAventura Park and Ferrari Land, its only new park Europe.
Tarragona will receive on top of stops from Costa Favolosa already in the calendar for September and October. In total 32,000 passengers are going to have the occasion of visiting the city thanks to the stops from Costa Cruises.
As per Josep Andreu, Port de Tarragona´s president, the Costa Cruises stops and its choice as Tarragona as a port basefor the Costa NeoRiviera stops this summer it is “a great projection for our brand Tarragona Cruise Port Costa Dorada”.
By it side, Mark Robinson, PortAventura World Chief Commercial Officer, highlighted the attractions of doing a stop Tarragona by its historica, cultural, food and landscape offer, on top fo the posibility of “enjoying PortAventura World and meeting first hand Ferrari Land, a unique themed park in Europe”.
