Cuba’s capital is the biggest city of the island and shelters its biggest port. It is also called San Cristóbal de la Habana and its historical center is Heritage of the Humanity by the UNESCO since 1987.

Its bay and its port are protected by fortifications as the Castle Castillo de los Tres Reyes, the fortress Fortaleza de San Carlos de la Cabaña, the Castle Castillo de la Real Fuerza or the castle Castillo de Atarés.

The daily life, as well as the musical culture are some of the main atractives of the city. If you call at the Cruise Port of Havana you should visit the historical center of Havana, its historical military park Parque Histórico Militar de Morro Cabaña, Havana’s Center and el Vedado district.

Its wide museum offer, its cathedral Catedral de San Cristóblao, the monastery of San Francisco de Asis form part of the tourist-cultural itinerary.

It is important before leaving the island to visit Plaza de la Revolución, Capitolio Nacional de Cuba, Museo de la Revolución or the picturesque neighborhoods on the surrounding of the city, as Miramar, Marianao or Cubanacán.
