Description

Located at the northernmost Mirabelle bay, Agios Nikolaos whose name comes from the oldest church on the island of Crete, is part of the largest islands in Greece and can rely on a picturesque harbor and sand beaches very attractive for tourism and water sports. It is located 65km away from Heraklion, whose port is linked by ferry with Piraeus. His salt-water lake in the centre of the city is one of its major assets, naming  Lake Voulismeni and was formed after the explosion of a volcano.
