108 cruise stops confirmed in the Port of A Coruña for 2019

The Port of A Coruña has confirmed for 2019 with the presence of 108 cruise stops, information that keeps the infrastructure  in the city as leader of the cruise sector, data that keeps the ports of the cornice cántabro-atlantic. The port of A Coruña has participated this month in the Seatrade Cruise Global of Florida with the objective of consolidating the commercial relations with the cruise lines and to establish new business lines.

 The delegation of the  Port Authority in A Coruña, headed by its president, Enrique Losada, participated in a very active manner in the Seatrade Cruise Global of  Florida,  that served to specify and explore the options to increase the presence of the main fleets of the main cruise line sector, as well as new collaboration lines of other companies.

This line of work was used in the meetings happened with the main representatives of the companies, such as Royal Caribbean, P&O, Cunard, Tui Cruises, Saga, Costa Cruceros, Aida or MSC Cruceros. All of them are present in A Coruña´s port and has transferred to its representatives that the travellers value each time more the destination, in which are highlighted the facilities that can be done in the city, the location of the wharf, the predestrian accesses to the historical urban area, the tourist attractions, heritage and cuisisne, as it is shown in the polls that the cruise lines do to it passengers.

The Port of A Coruña has triplicated the cruise figures in nearly nine years thanks to it commercial rate and the collaboration of the local agents and the concessionaire of the cruise terminal, Corunna Cruise Terminal.

Not in vain the  Port of A Coruña reached in 2017 with more than 180,000 passengers. As per A Coruña´s port Authority, the calendar of 2019 counts with 108 stops confirmed.

The exclusive  Quark Expedition or the Seadream 1, from the cruise line Seadream Yacht Club are going to do next year in its first stop in the Herculine city. As well as the first stop from Magellan, that will transport more than 1000 passengers to A Coruña´s port in 2019.
